It’s been quiet on ‘uku♥♥ – we just got married and took our honeymoon in Hawai‘i. While on Kaua’i I picked up a new ‘ukulele. It’s a Kala Concert Series with Koa laminated sides and back with a cedar top. It’s got a nice tone and feels well crafted.
I was planning to splurge a little more but we ended up leaving our digital camera home and needed to replace it when we got to Kaua’i. This model is an incremental improvement upon my Lanakai beginner model, it’s not the bump up I planned on but it’s still better all around than the Lanakai.

Me singing and playing ukulele for “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” from the Sound of Music. I did the voices for both the guy and the girl parts. ;)
Oh, and sorry it’s so out of tune! I only have an online tuner website right now, so it kind of sucks. :P
